Raggy's Gaming Adventures

Well, as promised, I have been working through the list and have managed to sit through Roman Holiday! I think this may be my favourite Audrey Hepburn movie to date. I am still not convinced she can really act as it seems her every character is this rather vacant girl who isn't really tuned in to the things happening around her... even when they have a direct impact on her. This is all well and good but most of the time I don't really see how it fits with the character. This is the most appropriate for that character. Everything about the fresh, delicate, porcelain beauty of Hepburn that has made Breakfast at Tiffany's so iconic is really much more appropriate in this film. The Princess of the fairy tale SHOULD be porcelain and perfect and a little lost by the events going on around her. With that, I have seen 70% of the top 250 of that time. I recently found out about a Blood Bowl tournament that would be happening in my local gaming store... and then remembered that I had left all of my teams back in the UK. Oh well that simply means getting some more! This may seem excessive however Blood Bowl remains to this day one of my favourite games and it was my dream to build at least one of each team out there. This has been dampened somewhat by the increase in the number of recognised teams over the years but I have a fully painted Chaos Dwarf team and my trusty old Skumm Suckers Skaven team that have won me many a match. I have miniatures for large parts of many other teams and so I had to dig through my records of Blood Bowl figures to identify which teams I was lacking figures for and pick something...
